Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of authoring four books, beginning with Did I Tell You I Love You Today? and most recently Diagnosis Parkinson’s Disease…Now What? Each book was written with one goal in mind: helping others.

I truly believe that is my calling in life.

There is something deeply rewarding about taking the lessons, successes, and experiences from my own journey and using them in a way that might encourage, inspire, or help someone else move forward. Looking back, that desire to serve has been a common thread throughout much of my life.

For example, in the 1970s, I volunteered my skills as a magician to teach simple illusions to occupational therapists and their patients through a program called Project Magic, founded by David Copperfield. The program was designed to help patients improve dexterity, coordination, confidence, and motivation through the art of magic. It was incredibly rewarding and proved highly successful at both the Therapy Center in Norfolk and Riverside Hospital in Newport News, where it operated for three years.

In the 1980s and 1990s, I shared my knowledge of the video production industry with aspiring entrepreneurs, helping many of them start their own businesses. Many went on to build thriving companies and enjoy great success.

In the 2000s, I served as both a board member and President of the American Parkinson Disease Association, working alongside others to support individuals and families facing the challenges of Parkinson’s disease.

Today, I am excited to announce the release of my newest book, Life 2.0 – A New Beginning!, a project that has been more than two years in the making.

This book was born from personal experience and is designed for anyone facing a major disruption in life—whether positive or negative. It could be a career change, retirement, the loss of a loved one, a health challenge, financial difficulties, divorce, or even an exciting new opportunity. Whatever the circumstance, life’s disruptions often force us to stop, reflect, and decide what comes next.

Rather than viewing these moments as setbacks, Life 2.0 teaches readers how to use them as catalysts for growth, transformation, and reinvention.

The Life 2.0 framework presented in the book and companion course combines lessons learned from my own journey with proven personal development principles and strategies. It is a practical, customizable guide designed to help you create a life that aligns with your values, goals, and dreams.

My hope is that this book will encourage you to believe that no matter where you are today, your best chapters may still lie ahead.

I hope you’ll take a look at Life 2.0 – A New Beginning and begin creating your own next chapter.
